May 9th - Mothers Day weekend - a sacred weekend at our household...afraid I have to miss this one. Looking forward to the whole calender of race events.

- The race on the 8th is going to be on the south end of the Isle of Palms. The short course will be go around a small island on the ICW which is right beside the inlet out to the ocean. The long coure will do the same loop but head out through the inlet out to the ocean and come back in. Should be fun. I will send out all the details once we have made the finally plans, which should be in the next week or so.

- The next race is Onslow Bay and then it seems there is nothing coming up locally until Augast 8th. I am hosting a race on Augaust 8th here in Charleston with Halfmoon Outfiiters. So you guys have plenty of time to get ready and to train hard. This will be the first big race for SC and Charleston so I am sure we will have some good prizes and swag.

Rob not Robert said… - Wow, finally a photo of Mac that is actually pretty good! My photo was actually taken by Mac at a session we had at Ft Fisher last Friday. We sailed the SUP and also had some great fun paddling the waves.....that is until Mac got hit in the worst location possible. OUCH!
